Hey Everyone!
Happy Friday! I am in love with these adjustable headbands I made! I have a very odd shaped head and I have never found a headband that will actually stay on my head for more 5 minutes. no joke. So anyways, I saw a tutorial on how to make this adjustable headband I knew i had to give it a try, and I am so glad I did!
Here is what you will need:
- Tulip Fabric Spray Paint
- Tulip Beads in a Bottle
- Aleen’s Tacky Glue
- 3/8 white ribbon
- Slides and rings 3/8th inch
Lay your Ribbon out in some sort of mess, just not straight out. And spray with Tulip Metallic Fabric Spray paint. I started with pink.
Add your second color, I chose purple!
Now you can leave it just like that, I think it looks really cool! Or you can add some more sparkle in the form of Tulip Beads in a Bottle!
Actually putting the adjustable headband together, was extremely hard to describe threw text and pictures, so I thought I would make a video for you:
And here is my cousin Paige modeling it 🙂
This is what the back should look like, and your hair should cover it most of the time, so its not that big of a deal, for me anyways.
I would really recommend trying these techniques out! They are a lot of fun and have an awesome finish product! You won’t be disappointed! Have some friends over, get a little messy, and make something beautiful and useful! Make sure to check out the ilovetocreate blog for so many more fun projects!
Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
