Hey everyone- Hope you all are have a terrific day! Today I want to do some DIY Wall Art to my basement studio, it is in my un-finished part of my basement. It has really annoying bricks that has a lot of texture.

So we’re going to use a fantastic product from FrogTape®. This is there Textured Surface kit.

This Textured Surface kit is going to be amazing, you’re going to beable todo a lot more of painting on ANY wall now and surfaces. I’ve been real excited. You can use it on burlap, brick, stone, canvas, all these! Think of all the DIY fun. Let me share with you some simple Wall Art today.

First what you need to do is take your tape and pick out your design! I wanted to do strips, but have them at a angle. That is what I did, make sure you look at it and try to make it as nice as possible. Just do your best, its DIY. 🙂

Now you will find a bottle and you will want to follow the directions on the bottle for prep. You will now want to apply it to your frogtape®. This helps in sure that no paint will get into the tape. If you have a large piece like I did, take your time.

Let that dry for 10-15 minutes. After it dries you are now ready to apply your paint! Today I am working with Krylon Spray paint. I love working with Spray Paint because its so fun! I picked up some gold at the store and I think it will go great on here! You now will want to apply your paint and let it dry completely.

After it’s dried you’re ready to remove the tape! This is the most exciting part. I love pulling it off and just starring in the ah of it. After I removed all the tape, I decided it needed a frame around it. I didn’t know what to use. First I was thinking maybe some gold tape. I then thought how awesome it’d look with Black Duck Tape®. Gold and black has been really trendy this year!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this tutorial and I’ve inspired you to try this FrogTape Textured Surface kit. I really can’t wait to see what I do next. It’s so fun!
