Hey everyone! Today we’re making a super fun DIY Chevron T-Shirt, featuring one of my favorite products! ShapeTape™ is a awesome product that Frogtape® offers. It has the fantastic Paint block technology that totally makes it the best painters tape EVER! It seals it great and I know you all will love it. Let’e get started.
The first thing you’re going to want to do is place a piece of freezer paper or t-shirt board into your shirt. After making my first shirt, I recommend Freezer paper/ wax paper.
After that is in your shirt, you’re going to want to decide how and where you’d like your chevron. Start lining it correctly and applying it onto your shirt.
Now that your Shape Tape™ is on your t-shirt securely you want to start applying your fabric paint onto your shirt. I use a paper plate to place my fabric paint on, it works great and after I’m done I can throw it away. Use your foam brush to pounce your paint onto your shirt. You only need one layer!
I hope you guys enjoyed this awesome DIY tutorial! I love this FrogTape how-to. It’s super easy to make a chevron pattern with the Shape Tape™! Here’s a video tutorial I created for this DIY :
