8/31 | DIY Photo Booth

DIY Photo Booths are all the rage these days, especially for sweet sixteen parties and weddings. All of my friends have turned 16 this year and almost every one of them had a photo booth at their party. It is expensive to rent one from a company though. This DIY Photo Booth with props is pretty easy to create and a lot cheaper, not to mention everyone loves them. You can get so creative with this idea and really personalize it to your taste and style because you’re making it and not renting it! You will love this idea, check out below how we made it.

Super simple right? We had a lot of fun creating our DIY photo booth. It is sure to be a hit at your next outdoor party! For the backdrop, simply hang a sheet up in the back yard. Set up a tripod in front of the backdrop and ask someone to capture all of your silly cowboy and princess faces throughout the night!

Another neat idea is to establish a hashtag (#) for your party so everyone can share the fun they had and see everyone else’s pictures from the event! Examples of hashtags are #courtssweet16 or #chambersfamilyruion.I am sure you will be able to come up with a fun one for your event!

Here are the DIY photo booth props that we created. By following the same steps you can create any prop you desire!

We just had to make a gif, because who doesn’t love a cute little gif!
