2/28 | $3 DIY Statement Necklace

Statement Necklaces have been all the rage recently! And as it always seems to go, they are also very expensive! Here is a $3 DIY Statement Necklace DIY! I have been trying to find a cute one that isn’t too expensive, but without much luck. But then I found these flower beads at the craft store, I knew I just had to make my own! It is perfect!
You will need: 4 flower beads, jump rings, thin silver chain, a silver clasp, and flat nose pliers
The first thing you will want to do is connect the 4 flower beads with the jump rings. It is really easy; just open the jump ring with the pliers add the 2 beads and close it!

Next you will want to make 2 six inch pieces of chain. Simply open up one of the loops six inches from the end with the pliers. Attach the two separate parts of the clasp to the chains.

Attach the 6 inch chains to the outer flower beads and you’ll be good to go!
With a few simple jewelry making supplies (all available at your local craft store) you can make a fabulous statement necklace for $3! I have already worn it and got a ton of compliments! This would make a great present for any girly girl!
