6/30 | DIY Seashell Earring Display

Who is ready for summer?! I know I am! I am loving the warmer weather already and all the extra time I have on my hands now that school is out! During the summer I generally wear more jewelry, so I wanted to create a fun summer display for it all. This DIY seashell earring display was just what I was looking for!

You will need: a seashell frame | one sheet of plastic canvas | American Multi-Surface Paint | paintbrush | hot glue gun

Step One: Paint the seashell frame making sure to get in all the little holes. I love the Lavender Field color that I used; I think it is the perfect seashell color! Wouldn’t you agree??

Step Two: Cut your plastic canvas the right size to fit in the frame. It may be helpful to trace the area first with a marker and then cut it. That way you know that it will be right on the first cut.

Step Three: Add hot glue around the picture hole and attach the plastic canvas to the back of the frame. I used a light blue plastic canvas because I thought it went well with my purple seashell but they come in a variety of colors. You could even paint it with Americana Multi-Surface paint and make it match perfectly!

Now all that you have left to do is hang your earrings up for display! This is the perfect earring display for summer! I loving having my jewelry on display because if it is just packed away in a drawer or something I don’t seem to remember to wear it. Not only is this DIY project functional, but it is also adorable!
