Today I have one of my favorite projects to share with you on the blog today. We’re making a DIY Branch Coat Hanger. We’re going to be using my all time favorite Americana Chalky Finish Paint from DecoArt. It goes on so nicely! This is a really easy DIY that can be done in an afternoon.

Supplies : Everlasting Chalky Finish Paint | Wood Panel from Walnut Hallow | Hammer | Nails | Branch Pieces | Paint Brush
Paint your branches with 1 layer of Everlasting Chalky Finish Paint. You can paint two layers if you want a less rustic look.
Let these dry for a little bit and then start deciding where these are going to be placesd on your wood panel.
Hammer one nail through the branch and wood panel. For extra support, you may hammer another nail into your branch and wood panels. I did one at the top and bottom.
Lastly take your DecoArt Chalky Finish Paint in Everlasting and do any minor touch up work and paint over the nails to make them less visible.
Wasn’t this a great and easy DIY? I’m loving this in my room decor. It able to hold my jackets, lanyard, and anything else that is needed to be hung. It is a really fun DIY using old branches that you may have laying around outside.
