8/31 | DIY Memo Boards

Hey everyone! Today on the blog I’m sharing with you how I took thrift store frames and turned them into amazing DIY Memo Boards. You wouldn’t believe how easy it is with a fresh coat of paint and some sticky back chalkboard or dry erase board. This is the perfect back to school project for your room decor or dorm decor. Let’s make this!

Supplies : American Decor Maxx Gloss-Aqua Waters | Multi Surface Gold | Brushes | Sticky Back Chalkboard | Sticky Back Dry Erase | Thrift Store Frames

1. You’re going to want to paint your old thrift store frames with your Americana Decor Maxx Gloss in Aqua Waters. This is going to be the dry-erase board. Depending on your frame, you may want to give this two coats.

Now take your other frame and paint it with the Americana Multi-Surface Gold Metallic paint. You’re going to love how bright this gold paint goes on!

Now let each frame dry for 30-45 minutes. Depending how thick each coat is.

Take cut a piece of the Sticky-Back Chalkboard and cut it to size to fit your frame.

Repeat the same process to the dry erase sticky back for the Aqua Waters frame.

Hope you enjoy this awesome project! It was so much fun and you will love this in your dorm decor or room decor! This is the perfect back-to-school project.
