Hey Everyone! Happy Friday. It has been a crazy and fun week here at the studio. We’re prepping all kinds of fun videos that we will be filming next week. Today I’m sharing how to create a fun DIY Distressed Monogram Holiday Sign that you can personalize with a couples name or your initials. Your choice. I am loving these new Die-namic Decor & More dies from My Favorite Things! They’re the perfect size for DIYs, Scrapbooking, and a ton of home decor. Stay tuned to learn about a special deal on these dies.
Supplies Needed : Die-Namics Decor & More Dies | Distressed wooden sign | Sizzix Big Shot | Decou-Page | Foam Brush | Winter Paper Pack
1. Pick your favorite paper pattern and cut your couples initials via the Bigkick. I used the magnetic platform and was able to cut all three letters at once.
2. Look how easy that was! I love how easy it is to cut your favorite letters with your Decor & More letters.
3. Now decide how you want to place your letters onto your wooden distressed sign. I like to know where these letters go, before decoupaging.
4. Apply a layer of decoupage onto the distressed sign and apply your letters.
5. Go in with your decoupage and seal in your letters. This will protect your sign and letters. If you’re not into the gloss finish, you can also get a matte finish.
