Who doesn’t love getting new shoes?! I recently got a cute pair of wedges and the shoes weren’t the only exciting part. They came in a nice sturdy box. As soon as I opened it, I knew the lid would become something awesome. In this video Tanner and I show you two different ideas for creating room decor out of repurposed items. I show you how to take the shoebox lid and a plastic placemat and turn them into this stunning DIY Shoebox Tray!

I love how with the help of DecoArt paints I was able to turn something that would usually just be thrown away and turn it into something as cool as this tray. It makes me wonder what else I throw away that could be turned into something way cooler.
