Today we’re transforming a thrift store foot stool and giving our cats a new cat bed. It’s a super easy project that you’re furry friend is bound to enjoy! I personally couldn’t believe at how we were able to create this.
Let’s head over to Walmart and pick up some IAMS™ cat food and some of the NEW IAMS™ cat treats! I love how you’re able to customize your cats nutrition with these new treats. I went with IAMS™ ProActive Health Adult Indoor Weight and Hairball Care. You can go with what whichever you feel best fits your cat. I love all the customized nutrition that IAMS™ gives you with all the product they have to offer.
Check out the video tutorial below or view on Youtube.
Step 1 : Grab your stool and get ready to DIY!
Step 2 : Clean your stool with a wet cloth.
Step 3 : Paint your base with a yellow spray paint. We used our favorite HomeRight Finish Max paint sprayer.
Step 4 : Reupholster your cushion with fun kitten fabric or fabric to match the room you’re putting this in. Simply use a staple gun for this and pull your fabric tight.
Step 5 : Cut excess off.
Step 6 : Tie your cat toys to twine.
Step 7 : Take the other end of the twine and staple to the bottom of the cushion.
Now let your cat enjoy it’s new cat bed! You can also add a DIY pillow to the bottom of the cat bed to give more options for your cats, if you have more than 1.
