4/30 | DIY Photo Cubes

I don’t know about you guys, but I love just going to the craft store and seeing what they have to offer. The other day, I was cruising down the isles and I came across these wooden cubes. I didn’t know exactly what I should make with them, but I obviously bought them anyway. I got home and had my miter box out for a different project. I quickly realized I could saw down the cube a little to hold a photo!

Supplies : Wooden Cubes | Americana Multi-Surface | Painter Tape | Paint Brushes | Miter Box | Printed Photos

Step 1 : Use your miter box and saw the middle of each wooden cube down just enough to easily hold a printed photo.

Step 2 : Start by applying a base coat of American Multi-Surface to each of your wooden cubes.
Step 3 : Apply your painters tape to each cube. We stuck to a geometric design for the post part.

Step 4 : I got to the last one and decided it would look awesome if we splatter painted it. I love how well it went with the others, but also stood out.

Step 5 : Add pictures to your cubes and enjoy!

I hope you loved this DIY idea. I am a sucker for any DIY that has me printing off my favorite pictures of friends and family. You will be able to customize this DIY however you’d like. You could also spell out your name on the cubes for your desk. Leave me a comment and tell me what you’d do.
