Today on the blog we’re sharing with you how we love to create a DIY Watermelon Bowl Fruit Salad to pair up with all natural Snapple® Straight Up™ Tea. You’re not going to believe at how easy this project is to make for your next get together.
You’re only going to need a few supplies to create this awesome bowl of fruit salad! Let’s get started.
Supplies : Strawberries | Applies | Kiwi | Half of a Watermelon | Blueberries | Snapple® Straight Up™ Tea | Knife | Large Spoon
We headed over to Giant Food and picked up all our favorite Snapple® Straight Up™ Tea! They were even running a special on it, if you’re interested in stocking up.
Your guests are going to love your Snapple® Straight Up™ Tea in whichever flavor you pick! But the new Snapple® Straight Up™ Tea Sorta Sweet Honey Green and Rooibos Tea varieties are extra delicious!
Step 1 : Start with cleaning your watermelon half out. Scoop it all out.
Step 2 : Next create a chevron design around your bowl. This will give it a finished look!
This is what your bowl is going to look like once you’ve cleaned it out and created your border.
Step 3 : Start cutting all your fruit pieces into cubes. We went with small bite size pieces.
Step 4 : Start adding different pieces of fruit into your bowl. You want to make sure it is mixed very well with your variety of fruit.
Now it looks great and will be ready for your next get together.
We like to set this up beside your drink area with small bowls for you to enjoy your fruit salad.
