8/31 | Gotta Catch ’em All Pokemon Shirt

Out of all the Pokemon themed crafts I’ve seen and made in the past month, this has to be my new favorite. I love making wearable projects as they really empower you and allow yourself to enjoy your DIY projects. We’re going to teach you exactly how to make this DIY “Gotta Catch ‘Em All” Pokemon inspired shirt and if you would like our free stencil, check that out here.

Heres What You’ll Need: Plain Shirt | Printed Template | Freezer Paper | Iron | Painters Tape | Piece of Cardboard | Scissors | Craft Knife | Americana Multi-Surface Black Tie | Makeup Sponges or Pouncer | Craft Mat

How To Make It:

Step 1: First you need to place your template on a craft mat, and tape a piece of freezer paper on top of the template.

Step 2: Now take your craft knife and carefully cut out all your letters and details.

Step 3: Once your stencil is all cut out take another piece of freezer paper and insert it into your shirt and lay it down. Lay the stencil shiny side down onto your shirt and position everything the way you want it.
Step 4: Gently iron the stencil onto your shirt making sure all the edges are sealed. Allow the shirt to cool.
Step 5: Get your paint and makeup sponge and gently apply it on the shirt in a stamping motion. Go slowly and be sure to dab excess paint off the pouncer before stenciling. This will minimize smudges and make the edges of the letters nice and crisp.
Step 6: Remove the stencil and allow the shirt to dry.

Step 7: Now put your brand new awesome shirt on and strut downtown to make everyone jealous.

Where are you going to go Pokemon chasing now? If you felt inspired by this project, feel free to leave us a comment and let me know what you think! I hope you can catch them all.
