Step 1: To make the rind add the marshmallows and butter into the large mixing bowl and heat in the microwave in 20 second intervals until all the marshmallows are melted.
Step 2: Add the green gel food coloring until it’s the shade of green you want.
Step 3: Add the Rice Krispies cereal a few cups at a time and gently mix together until its all evenly coated with the marshmallow.
Step 4: Take a 9″ pie pan and Grease it with cooking spray or butter. Add the Krispies, molding it to the edges of the pan forming the rind.
Step 5: To make the center, do the same thing for heating it and melting the marshmallows then add your desired red gel food coloring, and mix.
Step 6: Add them to the center of your pie pan applying light pressure to mold the Krispies. Allow it to set for 30 minutes.
Step 7: Now take the Krispies out of the pie pan, lay it on the counter, cut into slices, and add mini chocolate chips to look like watermelon seeds! If you loves these Watermelon Rice Krispies then I know you’ll enjoy THIS easy and fun recipe!
