Today I am sharing a super fun DIY project that will make amazing and inexpensive home decor! This DIY Geometric Pendant Lamp cost less than $15 dollars to make. I spent a lot of time playing around with different things until I finally figure out this way that works. I think this DIY lamp would make a great addition to your entryway, bedroom, basement, really any room- just paint it to coordinate!
You will need: Flora Craft® Make It: Fun® 1.5 inch Foam Balls | Make it Fun® StyroGlue wooden dowels | pliers | Americana Multi-Surface Paint in black tie paintbrush | pendant light
Step One: Poke a hole in one of the foam balls with a wooden dowel and then thread it onto the pendant like this.
Step 2: Cut the wooden dowels down to the sizes that you need. You will do this as you go.
Step 3: To connect the wooden dowels. Stick one end of the dowel into the foam ball and use StyroGlue at the connection to make sure that it is super secure.
Step 3: Keep building and building until you have a crazy looking geometric shape like this!
Step 4: Paint the entire structure with Americana Multi-Surface Paint in black tie or any color you like.
Now all you have to do is replace any one foam ball with the one that you stung the light threw already and it is ready to hang. Isn’t it so cool? I love this funky look ,not to mention how budget friendly it is! This will definitely be one of those project ideas that I share with all my friends and I will probably end up making a few more for their spaces.
