Christmas is only a few weeks away! Everyones looking for good last minute holiday gift ideas, and what better way to save some money than DIY! Today we’re making a project that is ideal for a quick gift idea for a teen in your family. It’s a DIY Marquee Star that took us just under a hour to create. You can personalize it any way you’d like by painting it a coordinating color to match any space! Continue reading down below to learn how to make it yourself!

Supplies: Wooden star | Marquee Lights | A Drill and Bit | Americana Decor Metallic Rose Gold | Paint Brush | Velcro Strip

 


Step 1 :  Mark and drill holes for your marquee lights to be inserted.
Step 2 : Paint the star with a few coats of Americana Decor Metallics Rose Gold, and allow to dry.
Step 3 : Insert the bulbs into the tops of the holes, and feed the lights through the bottom of the star.
Step 4 : Velcro the battery pack onto the back of the star, hang and enjoy!
