1/31 | DIY Ombre Twig Monagram

If you’re anything like me, you’re always looking for ways to create cheap or practically free room decor! Today Courtney and I brainstormed to come up with some really unique ways to use twigs that you usually can find in your backyard, to create some fun DIY ombre twig monograms! You’re going to enjoy how to create this, as we think this would be great to make as a personalized gift for a friend. Comment below and tell us your spin on this idea!

For these projects, we’re using our favorite paints, Americana Multi-Surface! The main reason they’re our #1 go to is that they work on almost any surface and they’re such a quality paint they end up taking less coats than others.

Step 1 : Find & cut your twigs to size.

Step 2 : Once you’ve arranged them properly, secure them with hot glue.

Step 3 : Create 2-3 different shares from your Americana Multi-Surface paint in whatever shade you’d like!

Step 4 : Start with the darkest shade at the top and work your way down.

Step 5 : Be sure to mix each shade together to create the best ombre possible!

Step 6 : With leftover twigs, be sure to use them on other projects. We created this luminary or vase with leftover twigs and Americana Multi-Surface.

We hope you enjoyed learning how we use twigs to create fun DIY ombre twig monograms! They’re such a fun project and totally something you can do with a friend.
