It’s a must to make for your friends with birthdays coming up! Put your special touch on this project by painting your letter in your favorite color, because marble matches any color very well! Keep reading to see how we made this great craft project!
Here is what you will need to make one for yourself:
a wooden letter | spray paint | marble contact paper | craft knife
Step One: Spray paint the wooden letter in a well ventilated area. I chose this pretty deep blue almost navy color.
Step Two: Cover the bottom half of the letter with a piece of marble contact paper. This stuff is my JAM! Only covering the bottom half creates a sort of color block effect.
Step Three: Using a craft knife, cut off any excess contact paper.
Do you love this project as much as I do? I know you’re about to run to the craft store and make yourself one this afternoon. Marble is so in style and I don’t think it will ever go out, so these great DIY projects that incorporate marble are here to stay and forever classy! Don’t miss out on this idea, you have to make one! Leave me a comment and tell me what color you would paint yours!
