3/31 | DIY Glitter Saturn

Hey guys, I have a great interactive DIY to share wit you all. I know sometime’s it’s hard to get kids interested in learning but this project will definitely get their attention! Today we teamed up with FloraCraft and made a beautiful DIY Glitter Saturn perfect for show and tell to help kids learn about the planets around them in a fun and oh so glittery way! Who doesn’t love sparkles? I know I do, and you and your kids will too when making this craft! Use all your favorite types and colors of glitter to get the kids really involved. You will love how this project turned out, I hope you enjoy!

Supplies : | A Foam Board | Decou-Page | Paintbrush | Glitter | Hot Glue Gun | Make It: Fun 8″ Foam Ball | Large Knife | Craft Knife |

Steps :

Step 1 : With the large knife cut the foam ball in half, then take your foam board and cut a circle larger than the foam ball with your craft knife.

Step 2 : Coat all of the pieces in a layer of decoupage and cover in your choice of glitter. We chose silver for the base, and blue and purple for saturn’s ring.

Step 3 : Once dried, hot glue one side of the foam ball to the foam board circle, and repeat for the bottom.
What would you take with the Make it Fun : Foam circles? We hope that we’ve inspired you to take this project and give your own spin to it! It’s a super lightweight decorating that could be used in a kids room.
