What’s up everyone?! Today we made a pretty cool DIY project perfect for spring! These DIY Modern Benches are totally customizable and perfect to use anywhere inside and outside your home. You can use them on your porch, on the foot of your bed, in your mud room, the possibilities are endless! You can also paint these any color you would like. They’re versatile, not too heavy, and very mobile. Check out how we made ours down below!

Supplies : | 2″x 12″x 8″ Wood Piece | Miter Saw | Tape Measure | Drill | Screws | Paintbrushes | Outdoor Paint | Scrap 2″x 4″ |

Steps : 

Step 1- Set your miter saw to 1o degrees, and cut the 2×4 at 15 and 3/4 inches. Cut this 4 times for each bench you create.

Step 2- Cut 2 pieces of your 2″x 4″ at 3 1/2 inches, then cut your 2″x 12″x 8″ at 4 feet for the top of the bench.

Step 3- Take one of the 3 1/2 inch pieces and attach a 15 3/4 inch piece vertically, screwing them together. Repeat to construct the legs for both sides of the bench.

Step 4- Attach the legs to the top if the bench with a few screws, then paint your bench in the colors of your choice.
