It’s a perfect make ahead lunch idea or a grab-and-go snack. You just add all of your favorite ingredients, then shake and enjoy. I have seen the simple salad in a jar recipes made with just fruit, only veggies, or loads of dressing. The beauty of easy salads is that you can make them exactly how you want them, then throw them in a jar. If you’re a busy mom, making these for your kids to take to school is a must. Ingredients:

  • Lettuce
  • Cubed Southwest Chicken Breast
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Grilled Corn
  • Crunchy Salad Topping
  • Southwest Ranch
  • Mason Jar

1- Decide the order you want to add all of your ingredients. Usually, people like to add their sauce first.

2- Once you’ve started adding your ingredients, just make sure they’re all getting evenly layered in your jar, so even when mixed every bite you take will be just as flavorful as the next.
