9/30 | DIY Pumpkin Succulent Planter

With fall and Halloween around the corner, I thought it’s time to create some great unique DIY pumpkin craft projects just in time for the holidays. We’ve seen so many in the box, predictable pumpkin crafts, not saying they’re bad, they’re just boring. Luckily for you today we took things a whole new direction and came up with the idea for this DIY Pumpkin Succulent Planter that turned out so adorable! Unlike the pricey faux pumpkins at the craft stores, we found ours at the Dollar Tree for $1 and painted it ourselves. We also used faux succulents, which means not only was this fall DIY affordable, but we can use it for years to come. You can make these in different sizes as great home decor or make one and give to a friend as a great fall gift. Check out how we made this Pumpkin Succulent Planter down below.

Supplies:

One- Carve out the top of the pumpkin just like you would if you were going to make a jack-o-lantern.

Two- Paint a few coats of white onto the pumpkin, and allow to dry.

Three- Add your filler rocks, and succulents to the planter until you’re satisfied with how it looks.
