9/30 | Decorating For Fall – Fall Light Tutorials

I am so excited to say that fall is finally here and that means we get to share with you all tons of adorable fall crafts! I love making fall crafts because they just remind me of the wonderful weather and the good times with family and that Christmas is right around the corner! I have two tutorials for two fall luminaries that I know you’re really going to enjoy. These DIY Fall Light Tutorials are the perfect way to decorate your home for the season while staying classy. One idea is like a fall inspired paint drip luminary with the colors of candy corn, and the other is made with faux leaves that are adhered to a glass votive. Both are great ideas perfect to make this fall!

DIY Fall Inspired Luminaries

These fall mornings are what I live for and to celebrate it, I wanted to make another fun luminary! These are paint drip luminaries with Americana Multi-Surface and thick jute rope. Can you believe a huge roll of this jute rope was only 7 dollars? Those craft store coupons sure do pay off. Let me share with you this fun DIY today.

Supplies: Americana Multi-Surface | Vases | Industrial Glue | Jute Rope | LED Lights

Step 1 : Simply let the paint drip down your vase. I went with this fun candy corn color pattern. The possibilities are endless!

Step 2 : Apply some industrial glue to the bottom of the vase, hold your jute twine down on your glue for 30 seconds to set the glue, and wrap about 1/4 way up the vase.

Step 3 : Once ready to secure the top down, apply some industrial glue to the area and hold for another 30 seconds. I love the added affect of the jute rope. It’s perfect for any fall decor!

Step 4 : Once the paint dries, add a LED light and enjoy! You could also use these to hold flowers as a fall inspired vase.

What colors are you going to put in your fall inspired luminaries? This is a great project for anyone that loves candy corn and wants to see it in their decor.
