3/31 | DIY Nail Polish Marble Cups

I know you’ve seen this DIY idea floating around Pinterest for the past few years and we finally had to try it out. Faux marble is still super popular. The DIY we’re showing you today incorporates the marble look too. I’m talking about these cool DIY Nail Polish Marble Cups. They’re way easier to make than you think. All you need are a few simple supplies and some plain Jane glasses and you’re good to go. I love how they turned out. The freedom of choosing any nail polish color is pretty great too. I hope you enjoy learning how to make these on your own!

  • Bowl of Hot Water
  • Nail Polish
  • Toothpick
  • Glasses

  1. Take off the cap of your nail polish and simply pour it into your bowl of hot water. The polish should float at the top. It’s very important to use HOT water with this DIY.
  2. Use a toothpick to spread the polish around to look more Marbley if you prefer. Then dip your cup into the water and pull out. Set them upside down to dry.
  3. Before starting your next color use another toothpick to gently pull the old polish from the surface of the water.
  4. You can get super creative and use multiple colors on each glass, but we kept it simple.

Don’t you love how these turned out? You can do this with mugs, tumblers, glasses, plates, whatever you’d like! We chose to dip ours at an angle too which I think gives it an even cooler look! I love trying a DIY I’ve had my eye on for a while and it be such a success. I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I do, happy crafting!
