Pineapples are totally my thing, so when I decided to make a DIY Paint Chip Banner for a DIY teen room decor project I knew that I just had to use a pineapple punch!I love making DIY Paint Chip crafts so I picked up a whole bunch of paint chips last time I was in the home improvement store with this project in mind. The more paint chips you get, the longer your banner can be. You’re going to be amazed by how fast this banner comes together and the impact that it can make. Step One: Use the pineapple punch to punch out lots and lots of pineapple shapes out of the paint chips. Puch smart so you can get as many punches out of each paint chip.
Step Two: Use the small hole punch to add a hole on each side of each the pineapple shapes.
Step Three: Thread the pineapple onto the twine. Be sure to thread the twine through from the front of the right hole and up through the back of the left hole so that the twine is hidden on the back. Pay attention to the color order of the pineapples as you add them on.
And just like that, I have a great piece od DIY dorm decor! This DIY paint Chip Banner looks awesome over my desk and it would also look great over the bed! Girls from up and down the hall have even been asking me to make them custom banners in their favorite colors using their favorite shapes.
