I am loving this summer weather! I also love making my own DIY summer fashion. I’ve made swimsuits, t-shirts, shorts, all kinds of things. Today I made this adorable DIY Cricut Shirt – Kitty Pocket Tee. It’s the perfect DIY tank top idea, and it’s a great summer teen craft. If you’re looking for a way to still be stylish on hot summer days this is the project idea for you. We found a basic pocket tank top at Walmart for less than $5 and decided to revamp it. This adorable kitty quote and design are from a cut file on the membership website Makers Gonna Learn. It’s a great site focused on anyone with a die cutting machine! It has hundreds of digital cut files and new ones are added every month!

- Measure the pocket on your tank and make sure its sized correctly in design space.
- Let the Cricut do the work and cut out your fun designs.
- Preheat your EasyPress and weed your designs once they’re finished being cut.
- Lay the tank top on the EasyPress mat and position your quote in the center of the pocket. Heat, then remove the transfer sheet.
- Lay the cat decal above the pocket. I even put mine about 1/2 an inch inside the pocket. Lay the transfer sheet back onto the quote, pull the pocket down to expose all of the Iron-On, and heat the cat decal.
- Remove both transfer sheets and enjoy your awesome project!
