9/30 | The Recipe for a Successful College Semester

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cengage Unlimited.  The opinions and text are all mine.
I’m the type of person who finds something I like and I want everyone to know about it so they can reap the benefits too. If you had the recipe for the best chocolate chip cookies ever and you met people who had never had chocolate chip cookies, wouldn’t you at least give them the recipe, or better yet, make the cookies and share them with your friends? There is no reason to keep good information hidden, so make the world a better place and share those golden nuggets. While I’m not sharing a recipe for chocolate chip cookies today, I am going to share with you the “Recipe for a Successful College Semester” which I think is almost better than cookies.

I recently learned about Cengage Unlimited and tested it out. It is a new subscription service that allows you to digitally access all of your courses in one place! It doesn’t matter how many courses you enroll in, Cengage’s price stays the same starting at $119.99 per semester. Not only that but you also get access to all your Cengage courses on platforms like WebAssign and Mindtap. You’ll also get eBooks, study guides, and a free print rental. It sounds too good to be true, right? Well it’s not anymore! I wish this was available since my freshman year, but now that it is, I won’t be going a semester without it.

In previous years the first few days of class, also widely known as syllabus week, has been really stressful for me. Not only do you have to readjust to being back on campus and waking up early for your 8ams, you have to organize all your course material and find the textbooks and other materials, while really all you want to do is hang out and catch up with your friends you haven’t seen all summer. Cengage Unlimited made my first day back to class a breeze, I just logged on, added my courses, and found the eBooks to go along with my classes. I was even able to rent one of the print books I needed through Cengage Unlimited for free. How great is that? Also, I feel way ahead of the game, because I have already rounded up some study guides for upcoming tests and it is only the very first week of the semester! Killing it am I right?

One of the features that I am really excited to take advantage of is the notes and flashcards section of the eBooks. It is going to come in handy to be able to add notes and make flashcards as I am reading through the eBook. I have a good feeling that is going to save me time and help my grades.

I am so grateful for the stress that implementing a simple system like Cengage Unlimited has taken off of my plate. I have been able to spend more time than ever with my friends and help them get ready to rock their semesters as well. Don’t tell my parents but I also took a nap. If this is any indication what the rest of the semester is going to be like, we are going to be in good shape.

Another huge plus about Cengage Unlimited is that when you choose to end your subscription you can still access up to 6 eBooks anytime for up to a year. Anyways, I hope that this was helpful to you and that you’ll check out Cengage Unlimited for yourself. It will be a game changer!
