Hey guys, what’s going on? I’m so pumped to share this fun recipe with you guys. It’s ideal for parties and get-togethers, but also works perfectly for a fun weeknight meal! I made Fried Mac and Cheese Bites, and they’re out of this world! They would be amazing paired with some marinara sauce to dip them in for an extra kick of flavor. No matter how you serve these, they are always a hit! I’ll show you down below how to make them yourself.
Ingredients:
- Boxed Macaroni
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups seasoned bread crumbs
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Deep Fryer
Steps:
Step 1- Prepare your boxed macaroni according to the directions on the box. Place in a bowl in the fridge to chill.
Step 2- With a baking sheet lined with parchment paper roll your chilled macaroni into balls and place on the sheet. When you’re finished place them into the freezer for at least an hour, overnight works well.
Step 3- Heat up your fryer to 350 degrees. Crack and beat your eggs in a small bowl, and pour your breadcrumbs into another bowl.
Step 4- Roll your frozen macaroni balls into the eggs and breadcrumbs, coating them evenly. Gently place them into your deep fryer and let cook 3-4 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
Step 5- Serve with marinara sauce or your favorite garnish and enjoy!
