It starting to get a little chilly here in North Carolina. As I was pulling out my winter clothes and looking at my outfit options, I thought that a fur vest would take a lot of the outfits to the next level! I have recently learned to sew with faux fur fabric and so I set out to make my own. I love how it turned out and you all know, when I have a successful sewing project I just have to share it will all of you! You’ll love learning how I make this DIY Fur Vest come together using my go-to Coats & Clark Dual Duty thread. It truly is All-Purpose like it says. Now let’s get into the video so you can start rocking the fur fashion!

Don’t you just love it? I had a lot of fun figuring out how to sew this fur vest, but if figuring out sewing projects isn’t your cup of tea, follow the direction in the video and it is actually a great sewing tutorial for beginners. I believe that you can make anything you set your mind to with the proper supplies and instructions.

This DIY Fur Vest is going to make quite the fashion statement this winter and I am excited about it. There are so many things in my closet that I want to wear this vest with. I love wearing and using things that I have made myself. It is the best feeling when someone asks where you got something and you get to tell them that you made it. Don’t you agree?

As always, I am here to be your personal sewing cheerleader! You’ve got this guys!! If you happen to come across any questions that I don’t seem to answer in the video, just leave a comment on the video or this post and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can! Happy Sewing!!
