Who doesn’t love a game night? I sure do. Since moving to North Carolina a few years ago, I have been so lucky to have made a close-knit group of friends. We have so much fun when we are together, but we realized that we weren’t getting together enough so we all basically made a pact to hang out on a more regular basis. For us, this looks like one of us hosting the group about every other week. Sometimes it is on a weekend but sometimes it is during the week, it just depends on what everyone has going on. This past week it was my turn to host. I decided to host a week-day game night, but I wanted it to be a little more special than what I usually do so I got to thinking and decided I would put together a fun drink station for the night.
Not only did I want it to look fun, I also wanted there to be a variety of flavors to choose from. We all love some good sweet tea so I picked up some of my favorites- Organic Sweet Leaf Tea in a variety of flavors. I love Organic Sweet Leaf Tea because it is made from real ingredients you can pronounce, 100% organic and sweetened using real cane sugar. It’s also delicious! I feel like it is the “better for you” sweet tea option. (side note- from 3/2/19-3/15/19 Sweet Leaf Tea is on sale 10 for $10 at Publix!)To jazz it up just a little (not that it needs it but just for fun), I set out berries for my guests to add to their tea, as well as mint springs. Again, I wanted this drink station to be really fun- not your typical drink station. That is why I had a crazy straw for everyone. I also picked up and hung an inexpensive banner over the station to draw some more attention to it.
For my game night drink I choose the Raspberry Sweet Leaf Iced Tea for my base. I love all of the flavors, but this sounded the best to me that night.
Then I added a bunch of raspberries and blueberries to my cup. Having these little guys floating makes this easy drink look so much prettier!
I topped it off with some mint and a crazy straw! Sipping on this concoction during game night really took it to the next level of fun which is exactly what I was going for!
The bright colors of this fun drink station are totally my vibe! While my house isn’t as bright as this, I kind of wish it was! How much fun would that be! All in all, I am so glad that I went with Organic Sweet Leaf Tea for this game night drink station. Everyone loved it and many of them told me that it is their new favorite tea. I cannot recommend it enough for next time you are hosting, but the 16-ounce size make them perfect for your everyday activities too.
