Trifle is a delicious layered dessert that originated in England. Traditionally, the cake part of it was soaked in sherry or other alcohol and then layered with custard and fruits. We have rounded up some yummy trifle recipes that are newer variations on this idea and we think you’re going to love them.
Most don’t use alcohol anymore, but even in the cases of the ones who do, you can usually easily substitute some juice for it instead to make a family-friendly trifle dessert. There are so many flavors and ideas to choose from – there’s something here for everyone!
