1/31 | 3D Paper Project with Your Cricut

Raise your hand if you’ve always wanted to make a 3D paper project with your Cricut? A few years ago I was so scared to make a 3D project with my Cricut, mostly because it had SO many layers and pieces. Today I’m going to show you exactly how easy it can be to make your very own 3D paper project with your Cricut. You’re bound to enjoy it.

Supplies:

Light Grip Mat
Assorted Cardstock
Scotch ATG Gun
Vase
Sand
Riverstone Rocks

Step 1: Open Design Space and search through 3D projects to find this cactus project OR follow this link right here. If you would like to resize it, you can by clicking customize or if you’re happy with how it is, simply select “make it.”
Step 2: Open Clamp A and insert the scoring stylus
Step 3: Load your white cardstock into the machine and press the flashing Cricut button.
Step 4: Repeat this for all 6 sheets of cardstock.

Step 5: Now organize all your cactus layers and start assembling the base by folding on the scoreline and adding the white background.  Using your ATG gun start adhering all of your pieces together.
Step 6: Build half your base, add your centerpiece, and then attach your other half of the base together. Attach all of the pieces to your cactus.
You’re finished! You have created your own 3D Paper Cactus with your Cricut Maker.
I hope this post has helped you create your very own 3D project with your Cricut machine. I love how easy they can be to create and love all of the endless projects you can find in Cricut Design Space. Head over there and in the comments tell me what your favorite 3D project is.
