Hey Everyone! Happy Saturday! Its finally the weekend, when i have the most craft in my day! Tonight I am going to a fun event where I hope to find so inspiration for some future DIY projects! I’m excited!
Anyways, today I wanted to share you a few unique ways to add journaling to your scrapbooks! I actually used these techniques in my fo project life book I’m working on!
1) Quote Cards
Becky Higgins project Life Kits and Knock off brands include pre-made cards with cute sayings and quotes that go along with everyday pictures or photographs of special occasions!
2) Journal On your Photos
Write/ Stamp RIGHT on your photos! This reminds me of a look that you could get through photoshop. I used VersaMark and Embossing powder to create an awesome look! (Be careful, it is slippery!)
Tanner Bell’s Enjoy the Moments and Its a Baby Stamps are PERFECT for scrapbooking!
3) Vellum
Type up your captions or journaling and print them out onto vellum. No special printer is needed! Make sure to give it about a minute to dry to prevent smudging. I really like this idea because unlike printing it on white or colored cardstock, vellum does not take away from any of the pattern. Its more subtle!
4) Stickers
Many companies have stickers with really nice thoughts and sentiments on them! Tiny Text from Cosmo Cricut are amazing! I added these directly to my photo but you could add them anywhere you choose!
5) Prompts
Companies such as Smash by K and Company sell little note cards that provide you with topics or questions to journal about. You can also find these on the internet for free!
I hope you enjoyed this post and find a few spare moments to craft today! Have a Great Day!
