A Little Craft In Your Day

Everyone needs a little (or a lot) of glitter in their lives. I helped my cousin Paige decorate her dorm room and we couldn’t help but add a pop of glitter in her wall decor. Her dorm room has such a cute, purple, bohemian theme and this DIY Boho Glitter Arrow Wall Art goes perfectly in there! It was really fun to make too!

You will need: 3 wooden arrows | Americana Paint Brush | Americana Spray Sealer   Americana Decou-Page | Americana Acrylic Paint in Purple Rain | Gold Glitter

Step One: Paint the wooden arrows purple. You will only need to paint half of each. Alternate between left and right. 
Step 2: Apply a thick coat of Americana Decou-Page to the other half of the arrows.

Step 3: Cover with glitter before the Decou-Page dries. Make sure not to miss the edges. You may have to pat it down gently with you fingers to get it to stick.

Step 4: After the Decou-Page dries, spray the arrows with Americana Spray Sealer. This will insure that the glitter does not fall off.

Now all that is left to do is hang them! Because they are lightweight, Command Strips work great and the best part is they are Dorm Approved. They are so sparkly and fun! I also love the gold with the purple, don’t you?

Paige decided to hang her arrows diagonally, but you could also hang them vertically or horizontally. DIY dorm decor is pretty much critical on a college budget. This awesome wall decor cost less then $10 and makes a big statement!
