6/30 | DIY Shadow Box Frames

I was at the craft store yesterday and saw these overpriced shadow box frames that I loved for over $40! I decided that was a little pricy and thought, why don’t I just make it? I gathered my supplies and I was able to make both of these DIY Shadow Box Frames for under $12. You’re going to love this project, so let’s jump into it.

Supplies : Wooden Boxes | Americana Decor Satin Enamels | Gorila Glue | Paint Brushes | Wooden flower decal frames | Decou-Page Papers | Decou-Page

Step 1 : Paint your wooden frame with your choice of Americana Decor Satin Enamels. I went with True Teal.
Step 2 : Paint your wooden box with the same color of  Americana Decor Satin Enamels.

Step 3 : Cut your Decou-Page papers to fit the inside of your box.

Step 4 : Decoupage it into the inside of your box.

Step 5 : Grab your industrial glue and glue your frame to the wooden box.

Step 6 : Hang your DIY shadow box frames with a command strip.

Wasn’t this a fun and easy DIY? I love that we were seriously able to make these for under $6 dollars each. If you enjoyed this project, please be sure to pin for later, share with your friends, or leave a comment.
