Have you or someone in your house caught the Star Wars fever? With the newest movie it seems like people can’t get enough- Star Wars is everywhere!
General Mill’s has caught the Star Wars fever too! So they decided to include limited edition glow-in-the-dark Star Wars decals inside the specially marked boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cookie Crisp, Cheerios and Cheerios Multi Grain. The decals are super cool because they stick to any smooth surface and feature characters such asR2-D2 & C-3PO, Chewbacca, BB-8, Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma and a Stormtrooper. In this post, I am going to share with you how to use the decals and create a fun coat rack.
Supplies: wood plaque | Americana Decor Maxx Gloss Paint | decals from your General Mills Cereal | 3 hooks | paintbrush | E6000
Step 1: Paint the wood plaque with black Maxx Gloss Paint. This paint is so shiny! It will really make your coat rack pop!
Step 2: Apply 3 decals from your General Mills cereal to the painted wood plaque. You will want to space them out evenly. We chose to put Stormtrooper, BB-8, and Kylo Ren on ours.
Step 3: Add metallic accents around the border of the plaque with a small brush. Ising the end of a brush add dots randomly around the frame to look like stars. You can paint little stars on as well.
Step 4: Use E6000 to attach the hooks to the back of the plaque.
Once the glue has dried, your coat rack is ready to be hung on the wall. It is perfect for any Star Wars fan and it was super inexpensive to create which is important because it seems like all the Star Wars merchandise in stores is super expensive.
