9/30 | DIY Succulent Key Holder

I’m always losing my keys! No matter what when I need them, I can never find them. I’m not a fan of those big coat racks that take up so much space or those little catch-all bowls that just seem to fill with change over time. If you’re anything like me then you will love this great simple organization DIY I made. It’s perfect for small spaces or just to add a pop of color and help you keep your keys in order. It’s a DIY Key Holder with a succulent that’s too cute for words. If you want to see how we made it, check it out below!

One- Cut your scrap wood into two 12″ pieces, and two 3″ pieces for support. Sand any rough edges.

Two-Hold your pieces together and nail your two supporting pieces to the back with small nails, making sure you don’t pierce through the front of your wood.

Three- Now, paint the front, and sides of your base turquoise and allow to dry completely.

Four- Paint a few coats of white onto your mason jar, and allow to dry also.

Five- Place your stencil exactly where you want it, and use painters tape to secure it. Take your gray paint, and with a pouncer carefully paint the stencil. Repeat on the bottom corner.

Six- Once everything is dry, add all of your hardware. Screw on your hose clamp and your robe hook, and secure your mason jar into place inside the hose clamp.

Seven- Now add some pebbles and succulents to your mason jar, and you’ve got an adorable and well-organized place to keep your keys!
