11/30 | DIY Winter Hat & Headband

This post is sponsored by Coats & Clark. Thank you for supporting the brand partners that make A Little Craft In Your Day possible.

The temperatures have just started to drop here in the South and so I am getting ready to bundle up! This year I have been trying to tackle an array of sewing projects and so instead of buying a winter hat or headband, I decided to sew my own with a handmade touch.  Not only did I sew them, but I made of video tutorial so you can sew your own too!

What do you think? Do you have a favorite? It was so hard for me to pick- but I think the hat is my favorite because I got to use EloFlex thread from Coats & Clark which allowed me to use a straight stitch on the stretchy knit fabric. The headband with the bow design is cute too though so really it is a toss-up.

As always, I am here to be your personal sewing cheerleader! You’ve got this guys!! If you happen to come across any questions that I don’t seem to answer in the video, just leave a comment on the video or this post and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can! Happy Sewing!!
