7/31 | Dorm Takeover: Unique Uses of Wallpaper

Welcome to day 3 of our Dorm Takeover! I think that of all the days this is my favorite. We really stretched ourselves and came up with some amazing uses for removable wallpaper. Dorm rooms are so generic and you aren’t allowed to paint anything so removable wallpaper from Walls Need Love is a great way to cover up some of the ugly furniture.

We used a variety of prints to cover the bed, dresser, desk, and the AC unit. It really made the room so much more appealing.

We used Fine Grey Chevron Removable Wallpaper to cover up the ends of the bed frame that came in the dorm. It really makes the dorm room more custom since all the rooms come with the same basic bed.

We covered all the drawers of the dresser with Goldidots Removable Wallpaper and I think it is so cute! We also added Chalkboard Dots to the sides. They are a great place for doodles and inspirational quotes.

For the desk, we added Handwriting Removable Wallpaper to the flat side and then on the drawer we added 2 strips of easy stripe- one thick and one thin stripe. Easy Stripe is a an easy to install, dorm friendly replacement for painted stripes!

This is by far the greatest transformation. The AC unit was a huge eyesore in the dorm but when covered with Pineapple Purist Removable Wallpaper is it so fun and trendy!

If you enjoyed this, be sure to stay tuned for the rest of the week for more inspiration! Leave us a comment and if you’d like to get more back to campus inspiration, be sure to check out Walls Need Love.
