7/31 | Duct Tape iPad Sleeve | Back to School Craft

Hey everyone! Hope you’re have a fantastic day today. Today I’m sharing a Back-To-School post creating a iPad Duct Tape Case. Many schools are starting to use iPads to put the books on and making iPad a necessity in the classroom! You want to protect it, right? This DIY project will teach you how to make one thats cool and protective. You only need a few things! Let’s get started.

What you’re going to need :
•Scotch® Duct Tape in Yellow, Black, and Batman Pattern.
•Non-Stick Scissors/Craft Knife
•Bubble mailer to fit a iPad

The first thing you’re going to want to do is cut your bubble mailer to the size of your iPad or tablet. A regular iPad size is 9.5 Height by 7.31 width. You’re going to want to cut your case a little bit bigger then this.

After it is going to fit your tablet you’re going to want to cover it entirely with Duct Tape. I’ve chosen the Batman pattern. Try your best to line the pattern up and not let it overlap.

Now you’re going to want to cover the inside of the bubble mailer with tape, you don’t want your BFF to know that your case is a bubble mailer, do you? I decided to cover mine with Yellow Duct Tape.

It’s time to make your bubble mailer sealed on the sides! You’re going to want to take a piece of Duct Tape and fold it in half. Ahead half the sheet onto one side of the bubble mailer, then fold over and adhere to the other side. It should look like this :

You’ll want to do this to the other side, just like you did this side. It’s the only difficult part to this DIY. Next : cut a piece of Duct Tape in black, then cut it down the center to make 2 thinner parts of Duct Tape. You’re going to want to put those around the outside edges of your case. That way you won’t have any sticky from the yellow piece inside!

Here’s the finished product below, it looks so cool and fun! I loved how it looks and I know my cousin will love using it for his iPad at school.
