10/31 | Halloween Candy Explosion Brownies

With Halloween around the corner, it’s time to start preparing for our annual party! I love challenging myself every year to step out of the box and make my party better every year. I went to my local Walmart hoping to get inspired. I was so surprised at how much Halloween candy and decor they had out this year! All of the Halloween decor and candy were displayed right in the front of the store. It was easy to grab and go. Walmart is a great place to stock up early for all of your Halloween candy needs. When I was growing up I always loved to get Nestlé Halloween Candy when I was trick-or-treating. Now as an adult I still buy it and hand it out every year. All of the candy is packaged in the perfect size for hanging out to the kids or setting out for a party.

There was so much to choose from, and it was so convenient getting all of my Halloween candy and party decor all in one place. I got inspired to step up my dessert game. I was trying to think of a fun dessert I know everyone would love. I came up with the idea to make Halloween Candy Explosion Brownies! I grabbed a NESTLÉ® Assorted Jumbo Bag, 400 count of candy along with a few more goodies for my brownie and headed to the checkout. If you want to see all of the Nestlé products that Walmart offers, check them out here.

I always love to test my new recipe ideas so I can perfect them by the time the party rolls around. To make this recipe, I simply baked the brownies following the directions on the box, removed it from the pan, covered with mini marshmallows, placed it in the oven on broil, and then covered it with candy! Super easy!

I’m glad I bought the Jumbo bag of Nestlé Halloween Candy because not only am I using it in my recipe, but I have a hard time not eating it myself. So maybe I’ll still have enough to give to trick-or-treaters when Halloween arrives!
