So today I am going to be sharing one of my favorite recipes of all time! These No Bake Peanut Butter Bars are so heavenly. They basically melt in your mouth and they’ll make your belly feel like it’s on cloud 9. The taste isn’t thing I love about them tho, I also love the fact it is a no bake recipe, which means no oven and more energy saving!
Saving energy is important to me and it should be important to you too. Saving energy can be as simple as turning the lights off when you leave a room or going with a no bake desert. Although its simple, saving energy saves you money, can reduces outages, and conserves natural resources. Sounds like a no brainer to me! The best (I mean yummiest) way to save energy is by making these o bake peanut butter bars though! So here’s the recipe..
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1.5 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Start off by mixing all of the ingredients except the chocolate chips in a large bowl. Stir until completely combined.
Cover a 9×13 pan with tin foil or wax paper. Then add the peanut butter mixture and press it down flat making sure to evenly cover the entire pan including the corners. Place this in the refrigerator for about an hour.
Once the hour is up, the base will be nice and solid. At this point you will want to melt your chocolate chips, and pour the melted chocolate on top. Spread the chocolate out evenly and pop it back into the refrigerator.
And that’s all there is to it! If your friends are anything like mine, they will be all over you asking when you’ll make them next!
